Are you interested in joining in the research, and recording Newtown Local History for future generations. We need volunteers who are interested in developing digital transformation of our photograph archive and producing new digital media, like films and social media producers.

We have a Vacancy for a Volunteer Treasurer – Duties to include recording income and expenditure and providing sales reports for the NLHG Publications and Bank Balance for monthly meetings.

The Newtonian
We produce a quarterly journal called the Newtonian, if you would like to share a story then please contact us via our Secretary email address.
The Newtonian began in 2000 and we have published 85 Volumes and they can be purchased from the Robert Owen Museum in Newtown, the Oriel Davies Gallery in Newtown Park. They are £1.50 each and can be posted by annual subscription of £10 per year, 4 Volumes which include post in the UK
